Kennedy,
I am continuously amazed by life and love. How is it possible that I love you more today than I did yesterday? How is it conceivable that I created your life, and yet your love gives me mine? Each day, you grow smarter, funnier and sweeter. And each day, our love and bond grows stronger. You have a certain gift of finding joy in everything, and leaving it behind you as you go. You flood my soul with light and laughter and burst my seems with pride. I hope no matter how old you get, you look forward to all your birthday mornings; and with every sunrise, start your world anew. Remember, if you love life, life will love you right back. Happy Fifth Birthday, my sweet girl. Stay hungry, stay foolish.

Love today.
Everyday life is laced with special occasions- everywhere and all the time. Savor the journey. Twirl around like a girl in a brand new dress; feel the sun on your face and the wind in your hair. Live life on purpose.
Love childhood.
Make pretend. Believe in magic. Put on shows with a wooden-spoon microphone. You are a fairy, pop star princess and you are truly wonderful.
Love simplicity.
There is something so precious about the simplicity of a child: your biggest problems can be solved with ice cream and kisses; anything out of reach, someone bigger brings down to you. Relish in it. Life is only as complicated as you allow. Don't be hardened by time, we are here to love and be loved.
Love adventure.
What is life for? It is for you. It is a blank canvas and all you have to do is throw as much paint on it as you can. Get out your rainbow colors and make it beautiful. Travel, explore, take risks.
The biggest adventure you can take is to live the life of your dreams.
Love laughter.
Laugh often, long and loud. Laugh until you gasp for breathe. And if you have a friend that makes you laugh, spend lots and lots of time with them.
Love happenstance.
Some of life's greatest gifts are presented to us in chance happenings. Embrace serendipity, take risks. Be swept away by new love, be thrilled by good fortune; and most of all, don't look down. You will make mistakes, you will fail, you will fall. And when you do, I'll be here to catch you.
Love change.
Life is a series of natural and spontaneous changes. It's often hard to let go of yesterday, but that's how it happens- one gesture, one moment, one person at a time. You can't stop the future and you can't rewind the past, but you can make a difference. And I know you will. Cause the people who are crazy enough to think they can change the world are the ones that do.
Love yourself.
What lies behind us and what lies before us are tiny matters compared to what lies within us. Learn yourself. Love yourself. Forgive yourself. Be true to yourself. The way you treat yourself sets the standard for others. And the better you love yourself, the better able you are to love everyone else.
